What We Believe

As a church we hold that the Bible is our supreme authority but we have subordinate standards – the Westminster Confession. In other words, we believe that this confession is a summary of what the Bible teaches on many important areas of life and doctrine. You do not need to agree with everything in the confession in order to come along and be part of our worshipping community each week or even to become a communicant member, but you can expect the teaching within the church to match up with what we confess, and it is something that all of the elders within our church subscribe to as a confession of their own beliefs.
